Challenging others

Invite others nearby by touching their player's name.

At the bottom right corner of the gaming room, you will find other players that are currently active and close by. You can challenge others conveniently by touching their names.
This is illustrated in the picture above. John is invited by tapping his name.
By challenging others, you set the rules. It is up to the other player to accept these rules.
If you do not see the other players, please make sure that you have activated the multi-player game and you are in close range for wireless communication.

Wait for a response

Give the other players time to respond.

John will be informed about your challenge (incl. rules). On your screen, an hourglass icon is displayed next to the player's name that you have challenged, as illustrated in the picture above.
He can accept your rules or decline it. Please give the player some time to think about your challenge.

Challenge accepted

The player takes a seat at your table.

John has accepted your challenge. He is seated at the left side of the table.

Start the multiplayer game

Touch the play button.

If there are no other players nearby, you can start the multiplayer game by touching the play button as illstrutated in the picture above. The AI-player will be the 3rd player at your table.
In this example, however, you could also invite Mike.

Challenging the 2nd player

Invite Mike by tapping his name.

You can challenge the 2nd player conveniently by touching his player's name, as illustrated in the picture above.

Wait for the response of 2nd player

Give the other players time to respond.

Mike will be informed about your challenge (incl. rules). An hourglass icon is displayed.
Please give the player some time to think about your challenge.

Challenge also accepted by 2nd player

Mike takes a seat at your table.

Mike has accepted your challenge. He takes the last seat at your table.

Start the multiplayer game

Touch the play button.

After the 2nd player is seated at the top right side of the table, you can start the multiplayer game by touching the play button as illstrutated in the picture above.

Inactive player

Players that are inactive are highlighted.

If the Skat app is not active anymore, because e. g. the player reads emails, you will be informed. This is illustrated in the picture above. A yellow sleeping emoji appears that you also may change in settings.

Received a challenge

Game invitation is shown.

Not only can you challenge other players but also others can challenge you.
A new challenge is signalled by an incoming letter icon as illustrated in the picture above. The rules are written on the blackboard (number of games to play, Ramsch, double, etc.).

Accepting or decline a challenge

Touch the player's name to accept the challenge..

To accept a challenge you only need to touch the name of player who has challenged you. Then you take a seat at his table.
If you want to decline, just touch the play icon. Then you will return to your current game.

Leave the table (stop the multiplayer game)

Touch your profile picture.

You can leave the table anytime. To do this, touch your profile picture or the word you next to your player's picture as illustrated in the picture above.
The best moment to leave the table is of course after you finished the game series.
