Your Card Design
easily replaceable
Using your own card design is easy since:
- any picture with an aspect ratio of 3:2 can be used
- replaces the whole card (including rank and suit)
- all 32 cards can be replaced
Touch the 2nd option.
The whole card is replaced if this method is selected.
After tapping the icon of the card designer in the gaming room, the view shown in the picture above appears.
This approach should only be used if you already have perfect pictures of all 32 playing cards (e.g. from graphics software).
So let's assume you have the pictures and you want to replace the Hearts 7. Then, you must first select the card you would like to replace by touching on the left side of the card the rank (e.g. 7) and suit (e.g. ♥). Afterwards touch "whole card", as illustrated in the picture above. Finally touch "Picture Import" to access the pictures in your picture library.
Choose your picture.
Pick the new card design.
Please make sure that the rank and suit of your new card and the old one are the same.
The app cannot verify it, because any picture can be used (even white pictures)!
For instance, since the card Hearts 7 was selected in the last illustration, the new design of Hearts 7 must be chosen from the picture library.
Cropping the card
Existing card boundaries can be removed here.
The cropping rectangle can be positioned freely. The aspect ratio is fixed. To move the cropping rectangle, touch a corner and move it to the center. When you are finished, touch done as illustrated in the picture above.
The final result
The replaced card will be shown automatically.
Please backup your new cards after you have replaced all 32 cards by touching "Backup" as illustrated in the picture above. Any old existing backup will be deleted, though!
After the backup you can restore your new Skat deck anytime. You only need to touch "Restore" (e. g. after experimenting with other card designs).
If you prefer the original card design, touch "Original Cards" instead.
